chapter 25: final day @ phuket

woke up at 8am in the morning.... mon went to return the bike... (total spent on the bike rental? less than RM50 for 48hours include the petrol.. ^^ do remember to negotiate... ) anyway.. it's another good sunny day~


after prepared and packing our stuff, it's almost 12am and WE MISSED OUR BREAKFAST... (>_<) aikss... so we have to pay for our own meal...
*do we look like korean? *wink





so we went to the hotel restaurant to grab a quick brunch while waiting for our tour guide to come and pick us up.

we have ordered fried calamari

and a tom yam gong (clear soup base)



okay.. is hotel food, what can we expect? TASTELESS tom yam, but the fried calamari was not too bad. well after all yann love fried stuff.... so she wouldn't complain. = P




and while we were waiting, just thought of snapping a few photos of the scenery.


it was a complimentary free tour around Phuket Town which was included in our island hopping package. (RM 190 with hotel transfer from airport + 1 day to phi phi island + half day phuket city tour.) it's so much cheaper compare getting it from online and PLUS POINT, we were very lucky to get a very good tour guide which was friendly enough to tell us all the details that we need about the island. = ) we were really lucky on this trip... (you will know what we mean if you follow our blog.... :D )

And because of that, instead of getting a "city tour", our tour guide actually bring us to wherever we want to go (shopping and eat famous food around the island..). Weeee... ^^
Since we have been bike-ing around the area, plus we only 5hours before our flight back to KL, so we wanted to just do some quick shopping and try some famous local delicacies...



so, on our way to Phuket Town (where we will be going for some cheap shopping which we will mention later) we saw this HUGE SIGNBOARD written (BUNGY JUMP) and Mon got so excited and actually asked the tour guide to stop us there...................
(crapzz!! he is really restless....can't let him see all this things.. >.<) Mon : Weee weeee~ Bungy Jummpppppp !!! Go go Goooo! d(^o^)b Yann : No no no... i dun want to... T T Ok, he obviously won... even the tour guide side him... So we were there... and while preparing, we took a photo (just in case is my last one T T) look at my smile............... ( cant smile....)
Mon : (deep breath.... sked) Weeeee~ jump jump jump!!!
Yann : -______- he is not sked at all....

didnt know that there's NZ management bungy jump here in Phuket Island.

*opppsss* sorry for not mentioning earlier... ya.. we didn't play but just watch.... (Mon actually wanna drag me up d... BUT I HAVEN'T WRITE MY WILL yet.. so... maybe next time.. LoL... )

Ok, back to the bungy jump...
OMG........... THIS IS SUPER SCARY WEI................

i guess am just more suitable with those more relaxing activity.......... *pheww... *

Rang Hill (Khao Rang) is located on the north side of Phuket town and is a popular gathering place for the locals and a fairly visited viewpoint... Look at the place...

Fantastic place... and once again, thanks to our tour guide.... ^^



And now for our food!!! So far this is the best Thai restaurant we've eaten in Phuket... again thanks to the tour guide who bring us here.

thai chicken mango salad.... very refreshing.
fresh veg (carrot stick, morning glory, cabbage and cucumber stick) with grill chicken breast meat, dried prawn, mango and of course chilli padi
Eat it with the fresh morning glory leaf or any fresh veg mentioned above~
the taste of the lime and the mango mix with the grill chicken breast and raw veg... *love it*

Mon : FANTASTIC!!! Nom nom nom ^^

Thai style fried rice~

dried shrimp with some chicken dice with chili flakes fried rice... accompanied by salty egg, raw onions, long beans and lime which can be squeeze on the rice... *feeling hungry even while describing it*


tom yam~ (clear soup base)

me and Mon loveeeee spicy... so to us... if it's a little more spicier would be better.. ^^ but still good enough....... this is like the best tom yam we had on Phuket Island...

Strongly recommend you folks to try this place out if you are going to Phuket Island... and not to mention, the price is very reasonable... = )

and last... we went to expo for last min shopping (which was at Phuket Town)~ it is an indoor shopping area that sell lots of variety of clothes and ................anything u name it... + it's air conditioned..

after a quick shopping spree (basically like whatever we saw...) it's already 6pm~ it's time to head to airport...

Mon : Gonna miss this place.. T T can we stay one more day?
Yann : NO! We will come back next time ok.. now let's go...
